The internet started to become a shithole around 2008 with the advent of smartphones. Smartphones = the foid's device of choice

Gaming began to go down the shitter 2005~(?)2009. This is around the time when Nintendo began marketing to the housewife and when brogames started to include player 2 modes so that chads and normies could bring their toilets into online matches with them.

It's like females have the reverse midas' touch, anything they touch turns to consumerist shit.

I hate smartphones it´s one of the worst inventions ever because now everyone has the internet on their phones so even when a group of friends sit together they will start scrolling through social media platforms I even remember a Danish interview of 4 girls sitting together all starring at their phones and would communicate through their phones. Not to sound like an old man but the old days were better at most people would send an SMS and back to the conversation but now people have the internet with them everywhere and I hate it.

I also miss buttons on a phone and being able to record video for hours still in HD plus the old school phones were tough and looked cool now all phones look the same. the old phones batteries also lasted so long like sometimes even a week now you are lucky if they last 2 days. Also since smartphones are so thin it´s easier to drop them and you can clear dirt of the screen without clicking into something, I also find them harder to type on and often hit the wrong letters also back in the day you could look away and type because you could feel the buttons I even texted my friends back then "I´m on my way" while being on my bicycle.

They are complete zombies when walking down in the city and it´s mainly the girls who are glued to the phone none surprisingly since they get more attention on social media so they are constantly looking for the next fix of validation.
