Where I am from, every male has to sacrifice 2 years while foids study and career maxx and just being noodlewhores. At first, I was drafted into the commando unit, was so fucking pissed off. Luckily, I failed the interview with the commando major.
After which I was drafted to the normal basic military training, it was brutal because I could not socialise well. One sliver lining was, that my platoon had a lot of people with otaku hobbies, and there were bigger weirdos as well. So that took off much attention off me from the normies.
However, I had problems with the asshole sergeants, who liked taunting people like some vulgar gangster and had double standards. Apparently, the worst 10% of command school graduates are sent to BMT to train conscripts..
After 7 weeks i couldn't take it anymore and decided to report sick as much as I can. This obviously pissed them off but they can't do anything about it. Eventually the medical officer gave me a referral to the psychiatric unit and I was taken off the basic course, and put into a relaxing clerk role in a new unit, where I played mobile games daily.
In that new unit about 45% had psychiatric illnesses, from minor ones like mine (adjustment disorder and agoraphobia) to full blown autism (guy was literally making loud animal noises and humping walls) and bipolar. So the whole atmosphere was chill.
I also realise there were a lot of larpers or malingerers there who, before conscription, actively visited mental hospitals in order to build a case so that they could escape from the infantry life. Most of them were high iq cels from Elite schools headed to Unis like Oxford, Cambridge, or medicine courses in the local unis, interstingly.
