Cope Complete isolation or modern world

I have been thinking lately that i think i would actually be happier living completely alone, like on an island like the guy in cast away (I already talk to myself so a friend like wilson would be fine) or in a world where cities are overgrown and abondoned like in I am legend (but without the mutants) than being in the real world seeing people everyday but not really having any social relationships being only half in this world.

I think preppers like the ones in the also have this fantasy and that is why they train to live in that kind of world, hoping one day it will happen. It won't.

Loneliness stems from being around other people yet having no connections tbh. I don't feel lonely when I'm physically alone, I only feel it when around people.
