One of my favorite comics to read and cope with right now is The Eltingville Club.
It's about a group of 4 teenage guys; Bill the secretary of comic books, Josh the secretary of sci-fi, Pete the secretary of horror and Jerry the secretary of fantasy/gaming, which go through various elements of nerd culture together, like rapid consumerism of anything related to their interests and more.
What I like so much about them is how obnoxious and gross they are portrayed - they're loud, ugly, annoying and very likely autistic. I'd say it's not that far off from how nerds were viewed as before being a 'nerd' became cool (or at least openly liking anime and sci-fi etc.) The reason they are so extreme is because it's supposed to parody common stereotypes, but honestly, it's not so far off to how some people can still be like today.
Why do I think that they're incels?
It honestly was very obvious to me that they were incels from the way they looked to the way they acted. It's even partially implied with all the characters basically wasting their lives as they grow older without anyone to love them (except Jerry who has practically ascended by becoming a professional Magic: The Gathering player, upping his self-esteem and dating a pretty girl.) Who hits it the hardest though is Bill, who still lives at his mother's house as he grows old and has developed a bitter hatred for women and life itself.
Unrelated but Bill is my favorite out of the four, some aspects of him I find myself relating to.
Eltingville has also been adapted into a pilot by adult swim in 2002 which honestly isn't bad, I like the early 2000s cartoon aesthetic since it fits Eltingville really well. However the characters were watered down by a bunch, so I strongly recommend reading the comic before watching the pilot.
All and all, The Eltingville Club is a fun read and some of you might enjoy it. You can find it online with a simple search. I just felt like talking about it because I'm autistic as fuck and I can't bother talking about it anywhere else
