For context, this happened a year ago, but I still remember this in details. I don't know how it is in other universities, but here in mine you pretty much never see foreign TAs (only teacher maybe)... so when we were told that we would have one and that he comes from France we were surprised. I still remember seeing some of the other girls already expecting a hot french guy lol

So yeah, fast forward to the day we get introduced to him, turns out he's not the tall white dude we expected, but a short south asian guy. No big deal, we just had the wrong expectations about him.
