Lately I've been thinking about this because I actually went clubbing and was miserable the whole time. Bluepillers say bars/club are less looks based than OLD, but that's not true at all, they are just as looks based as OLD with a few extra complicators. Bluepillers tell you that you'll be able to have conversations with girls and this should give a better chance. In truth women will only converse if you're attractive enough and their friends don't cockblock you (foids go out in big groups of friends, this makes approaching almost impossible). There is also the huge issue of unbelievably loud music, so even if you could've picked her up with your smooth talking (cope, no such thing exist) conversing with her is impossible.

Cold approaching in general is a fool's errand for non-chad men. Rejection, public humiliation and maybe even jail are waiting for you on the other side.

So bars and clubs suck, yeah. As you say, her entourage will cock-block you, which isn't a problem online. But, online, you'd never even match with her, so while this sucks ass, you are actually ahead.

Bars and clubs turn the music up really loud so you can't really talk, though, clubs are much worse about this, but bars turn the music up as it gets later. The supposed reason for this is so you have to talk into each other's ear, making you get physically close to each other... but this is actually a minus, because girls are very image-conscious and are likely to just not talk to you because they don't want to be seen close to you. It never began.

Cold approaching happens outside these money-milking shitholes. Back when I cold approached, my favorite destinations were big box stores and supermarkets. These shops have such a general appeal that they give you a relatively random sampling of the population, and the day and time you go decides what crowd you get. People are usually alone, and they're not in that bar and club cunt headspace, they're shopping, bored, and rarely have a time constraint.

That said I literally never got laid doing this. My trophies are the rare occasions that I got a girl's number and she actually met with me again after the cold approach. I can count them on one hand.
