Like I explained in my previous thread I had to port a rather big code from pure JavaScript into TypeScript.
Now the porting is almost done but I do not have the balls to compile the code and run it.
It was functioning perfectly before, but now it will be full of bugs and I will have to spend a lot of time just getting it to work like before.
Not to mention the huge time the port itself took.

And I do not have tests because I'm not a cock sucking faggot so I have to do the tests manually.

Also I'm learning test driven development using jest and I kind of don't get the utility of it at all. I'll keep trying. Hoping to start learning react in about a month pretty pumped

my corp has qa which reduces the stress a lot as they test the shit before fully committing and catch most of the errors. But at one point worked in place where they didn't and was always dreadful

It's fucking insane.
I mean writing tests in itself is fucking insane.
I tried a few times and it's just seems impossible. Unless you put in equal or more time that you put in the code.
You have to recreate everything.
But test driver development is just a whole new level of insanity. I fail to understand how anyone can get anything done using it.
I don't have experience in big programs and corporate shit so maybe for huge things it'll actually be better? I don't know.
