For centuries men have fought and died for a world to be built on the wish-fulfillments of the human ideals of control, beauty, hygiene and order. A mans insatiable craving for instant sexual gratification, preposition to aggression, to commit adultery and murder, were to be curbed through means of legislation and jurisdiction for the well-being of the human community. Even when this putted man in a constant low-key struggle against civilization itself, the promise of a secure, fulfilling life coupled with a hot wife, 2.5 kids and a house in the suburbs made him repress his primitive instinct and work for the betterment of society.
