I forgot exactly what drug it was but my grandma got addicted to these weird pills in the 60/70s that were supposed to be for weight loss
i remember her telling me as a kid it was like some hardcore drugs the doctor would give you back then lol
(and before you say anything no my grandma was never fat lol. she was always average weight and slightly underweight yet the 70s was all about looking skinny as possible)
