I'd say it's more about clearly explaining to nerdy kids that they aren't bullied because they are doing something wrong but because they are wrong and it's simply not their fault, plus showing parents what they can expect their children to go through if they deny them affordable surgery in favor of making them wear glasses.

OP needs to clarify (like glasses) that glasses with high prescription distort the eye-area and make the wearer unattractive. Low prescription glasses don't have this light bending effect to where it distorts the eye-area.

When somebody says that glasses are unattractive, it needs clarifying. Glasses with high prescription are unattractive.
I linked a YouTube video where a man with glasses talks to the camera. you can note what happens to the eye-area with high prescription glasses. These glasses make the presenter more unattractive.

I just find it funny how some people... Fully grown adults are so out of touch with the world that they need a studies to tell them things I could have told them back in the mid 90's and had only been in school for a year or two. Many such cases of studies coming out that basically say what we've been telling people for years, and knew ourselves as infants.
