Character Customization in video games

Do you like it? What's your general opinion on it? What are some games with good character customization?

Dont care that much, especially since most customization options in games turn out garbage. Among those games I played, never did it make any difference because of how basic and bare bones it was. I'm fine with witcher/gothic style MCs as long as it is not a nigger, faggot, troon, female orc (the list is incomplete).

I like character customisation, it gives me the freedom to create whoever i'd like to even though i prefer already made mcs. I personally think all character creators in vidya are good, i personally have never seen a bad one apart from Oblivion but everyone looked weird in that game anyway

Saints row 3 had a good and memorable one.

• PSO2 had amazing character customization with a lot of modularity
  
• Warframe has also pretty cool CC but it's more limited than in PSO2 since you play as a ninja infested cyborg most of the time
  
• Dota 2 you can mix parts of the skins since they are modular and create your own favourite look
• Soul Calibur 6 for obvious reasons
• Dragon's Dogma 1/2 for great character creator you can make any face you want
• Honey Select 2/Koikatsu
• Skyrim/Fallout games on mods obviously
• Nioh 2 (more customization than Elden Troon)
• MH World/Rise so many armor types and also so many dlc/mods for armors/skins (a lot of them are paid )

Yes i like customizing my characters but they need to have good gameplay first.

I spent more time making characters in Code Vein like it’s Koikatsu than actually playing the game
