I'll tell you some stories around then that I remember that kind of give more context to what went on back then.

I was on Yahoo Answers (and practically everywhere on the Internet) quite a bit when I was younger, and around early 2011, I started to see quite a lot of low-tier normie looking guys in their late teens-early 20s on Yahoo Answers asking why they couldn't get girls and why girls viewed them as ugly. I was interested on why this was, because before then, I would see guys looking like them, at least with any girl at all.
