At best, "men don't want sex anymore" is a symptom and at worst it tries to deny male celibacy to be a problem.
Men do want sex and relationships, the problem is that it's typically so costly for the average guy to obtain it that some men give up. They feel that the juice is not worth the squeeze even if they still want the juice.
I'll explain it from my perspective.
I have gymcelled for about three years now, on and off. I have a pretty built physique, though I am 5'4", 147 lbs. The 5'4" part obviously kills but that is not the point.
Now, for me getting casual sex is next to impossible. I'm just not attractive enough to women for them to want to make me a fwb or hook up.
Tinder does not work obviously because it's for casual sex.
Regular dating is next to impossible. Any somewhat decent girl already has a boyfriend. The only girls that are single are either waiting for the perfect boyfriend, or they are horribly obese/malformed. Even they have options.
If you're not insanely attractive, then dating is not fun, it's just an exercise in emotional self-harm and disappointment. You have no options, so you have much more investment in any opportunities you have to get a girlfriend, making it an imbalanced relationship because every girl has at least some options. Hearing a no, ending up with zero matches on Tinder, getting stood up, getting ghosted, these all place a heavy emotional toll on men, especially men like me who do take a lot of effort in improving themselves and being as attractive as they can be.
When your only option to get a girlfriend is a 210 lbs landwhale who smokes and just finished highschool, when you have been exercising consistently for three years and have a University degree an a full-time job, you start to wonder what the point even is. You won't actually enjoy fucking this woman, and when faced with that as an only option, men would rather give up and watch porn instead.
