An out of control and aggressive cat leaves three injured in Coll d'en Rabassa
Three women , members of the same family, were wounded of varying degrees after suffering the attack of their cat in the Coll d'en Rabassa in Palma.
The events happened a few days ago on Jacob Sureda Street. The owner of a feline called, very nervous and alert, the emergency teams, alerting that her cat had gone totally crazy and was attacking all the members of her family.
Quickly, a staff of the National Police moved to the family home. Upon arrival, three women (grandmother, mother, and daughter) were found with wounds of varying consideration caused by the animal's claws.
Agents called SAMU-061 , his fellow Local Police officers and a veterinarian from the Son Reus Municipal Animal Protection Health Center. The health personnel had to attend to the victims on the spot, one of them having to be taken to a hospital center (Emergency Department) to be treated as a result of the injuries he presented.
Finally, the technicians and veterinarian from Son Reus managed to immobilize the animal and transfer it to the municipal kennel.
According to the owners' account, the feline is a very territorial animal and likes to mark its area. They explained that on some occasions it had generated a small incident, but this time the cat had "gone crazy" and was out of control. In fact, when they tried to put him in a carrier , it became very angry and violent.
The police and health workers who came to the place were very surprised to see the extent of the wounds presented by the women. One of them had a full back full of cuts and blood. "It looked like he had been stabbed, " says one of the witnesses.
