Never liked it, since the first time i've seen it. I remember one schoolmate was a big fan of anime, many years later i found out on social media that he is hardcore gay

tbh there are genres and if you'd try to look around in Shonen or such categories you might find some material which shows a bit more realistic asian depictions in them
