Can you ever trust again

I dont think I will ever trust again any foid nor anyone in that matter.
I find it as a faintless pursuit of love I was never destined for.
I think a huge problem was my idolisation of foids in a young age and buying the Disney story bullshit.
Even if the surgeries I need become available and accessible, I don't think, I will talk to a foid in my life. The idea makes me feel sick in my stomach
Is it just me that thinks this way?

But, for me, the idealization will sometimes start to creep up.

I was stabbed in the back by my former friend group who felt retroactively that I was "creepy" and a "crazy person" after they started pairing off after college in favor of "serious" relationships.

I am still bitter about it years later. They knew that I have a disorder that I take psychiatric medication for. It did not bother them in school, so why did they suddenly decide to cut me off because of it after we graduated?
