3-4 months ago I couldn't even do one and I weighed less back then. Now I can do 7 proper slow chin over the bar pullups, no kipping no bullshit, full range of motion.
I'm cutting now and I once I lose the extra 25lbs I'll probably be able to do much more.
I was very weak before I started my home calisthenics + free weight routine. I gained a lot of strength in just half a year and I wasn't even on a caloric surplus. I was cutting on and off between September and November, then in December I took an entire month break from working out and gained weight again.
I started working out in early September, I could barely do 10 regular pushups. I couldn't do a pullup until November.
I can do 40 pushups now at the same body weight. I don't do regular pushups as a part of my routine, though. I only do one arm pushups and assisted one arm pushups.
I'll join a gym once I cut down body fat. I'm a fatass.
Gymcelling is a great cope. I love seeing myself get stronger.
