Yes, I mostly cook cereals, pasta or soups. Sometimes I've learned a good homemade pizza.

what i don't like about cooking is that it takes more time to cook than it is to eat so it feels like you wasting your time by cooking anything more complicated than porridge or fried eggs

I can make things like roasts, soups, cakes etc. but all of this is stuff I have learned over the years through trial-and-error and when you live alone for as long as I have you learn how to do this out of necessity as if you want something you have to make it yourself.

Plus, making a roast or a pair of whole chickens takes minimal effort and you have leftovers for a few days and is a pretty good deal for what you spend.
