Is there a point to meditation? Can it improve our mental health and put us more at peace? Or is it useless?

meditation can help deal with stress and emotional turmoil. so yes it helps deal with inceldoms symptoms. but it won't fix the root cause(inceldom) and takes some time before you see it's benefits. consistent practice is key.
 
It really depends on you. If you ever feel in stress or anger, just take deep and slow breaths. This already calms down 90% of the time.

If you go into meditation with a mindset that its hippie bullshit it most likely won't work. Anyway, its still always good to get some time off the screen, even if its just 15-30 minutes. I especially like to meditate before bed so I get the burning screen and flashing lights of the internet out of my head to fall asleep better.

imo visualisation excercises or having some background music helps me a lot, its not as focus-demaning as thinking about literally nothing and having a blank state of mind. Really depends on your goal. If you meditate for esoteric reasons, you should try to cut out as much stiumuli as possible and leave the music away
 
Meditation helps me, but I don't know if it would work for everyone.
Meditation allows me to tap into my subconscious mind and sift through to see what issues are impacting my psyche and what my own consciousness wants me to do about it.

No, not really. The only thing meditation does for me is see how much more bullshit this entire world really is and even then I just end up overdosing on blackpills concerning reality.

U need go very far in meditation to hit real spiritual experiences consistently
