Be an impatient fuck -> want to create something -> work on it with insane determination simply because you want it to be done ASAP

I feel like passion + ADHD can sometimes be fruitful

ADHD is either like having smooth brain or having hyperfocus that impresses even yourself with how concentrated you are.

Sudden bursts of energy usually happens to procrastinators, with major downtime in between those bursts:feelsjuice: is this the same for you?

Honestly no. I never get productive for things I dislike. But something I really do like, I can remain productive for weeks on end.

I have been like that my whole life (30 years). Best case scenario is you get to learn a few things but you aren't good at any of them because you can't focus. Also everything you create is shit because it is a law of the universe that to create something good you need patience.
We are fucked.

High IQ

I say yes

It' can manifest as tunnel vision

No, ADHD is not the type of hyperactivity where you're impatient to finish reading a book, so you read 50 pages a day, but rather the type of hyperactivity where you can't concentrate on the book because at that moment you'd rather play football. It’s like wanting a lot of things at the same time and at the same time being to tired to even do anything, because your brain plays pranks with you.

Holy shit I can relate. I haven't really improved in my hobby significantly. Some normie who's spent a year patiently studying will mog me, who has dabbled with personal projects for 6 years now.

I wouldn't use reading books as an example because they lack an active role. I was thinking of any kind of work like painting, woodwork, making music and so on.

It definitely has only bad effects on someone and can’t be used to positivity itself. It is the reason why someone does not end what he starts and does not focus on what he does, just doing everything without being focused and thinking about something else while doing that, so that applies to every area, be it during work or the non-professional life. It’s a disadvantage to live with. Everyone who has it, has a hard time to exploit his full potential and would be a lot better in everything if he didn’t have ADHD. Being hyperactive and at the same time having a hard time focusing on something is a bad mix. It’s like pouring oil in fire. It even is often the reason why people lose their jobs or are bad students and end up in jail. even if someone has high intelligence, he cannot use it to the full because of it.

I understand. Nice write.

it can be productive but no one cares if you are subhuman.

you might get ccompliments but thats about it. but doing it might also make you feel good.
Yeah, it's nice to make something cool and people might pat you of the head if they want to make you feel good.

But it never raises your SMV or provides any additional poon.

Might as well use it to your advantage specially in skillmaxxing
