A few years ago me and my “friend” were making a minecraft world to play together, we played for a few hours and he got off, i told him i was gonna do some grinding while he was gone as I still wanted to play some more.
I then spent multiple hours making a big base for us and getting extra materials for him when he gets back on.
The next day I asked him to hop on he said “nah im bored of minecraft” out of nowhere and didnt even give it a second thought.
He did this all the time, but whenever the roles were reversed i would sacrifice time and energy into a game i didnt even want to play.
