I don't see a problem really, because they're literally recycling the GTA 3 concept. We already had Claude and Catalina, although, they wasted the potential to do something similar like Bonnie and Clyde with them, so they're doing it now.
The only problem is probably the fact that the gaming enviroment itself might be woked up.

In GTA 3 Catalina is the typical foid whore. She betrays you the first chance she gets and takes off.

You work your ass off to later blow her to pieces. Catalina is a piece of shit and represents female nature as it is. In San Adreas she's a nagging whore. Again. Accurate to how women are.

Gta6 depicts the foid character as more masculine than the man. Fuck she even looks more masculine than the man, who looks like a twink.
