A British woman who dreamed of being tortured and raped traveled to the United States to meet a maniac from a fetishist site and was brutally murdered. One of the woman's fetishes, identified as Sonia Exelby, 32 years old, was torture, and that is how she ended up getting involved with a 52-year-old American, Dwain Hall, with whom she agreed to meet in Florida.
Sonia traveled from Portsmouth (England) to the state of Florida and landed at Gainesville Regional Airport on October 10, where Hall picked her up and took her to an Airbnb accommodation in the community of Reddick, in Marion County. According to investigations, the woman already had multiple bruises and was in poor condition upon arrival at the place.
Days later, her body was found buried in a wooded area of the same county. A video recovered by the police showed the attacker asking the victim, already beaten, for permission to continue with the torture. In messages sent to a friend, Sonia admitted that she had made a mistake and that she was afraid of the man she had gone to visit.
The young woman could not escape. The autopsy determined that she was killed with four stab wounds. Dwain Hall was arrested and faces charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping, credit card fraud, and illegal use of communication media.
