I'm sorry I just can't. As much as I abhor parental abuse maybe sometimes it makes sense to start early.
It's a good thing. Not like he doesn't have a home he can always come back to. And spending one or two nights on the streets may help him develop some sympathy for the less fortunate. Some people need a reality check like that.

Yeah and he can come back grovelling anytime, nothing too serious. It happened to me too. My parents themselves took me in lol. But I did spend a night outside and of course I didn't sleep. I just couldn't under the open sky with no bed but the streets. Though working and homeless people around me sleeping soundly, covered in mosquitoes with no blankets. Many woke up as early as 5-6 to start their daily routine in local shops. And what do they even get? $150 a month? Less?To even contemplate having to live like that.

Frankly these hypotheticals don't mean anything. The reality is most of the world is not jumping on boats to move to China . There is no refugee crises directed towards China. And there's a reason for it. China is not UK, America or France. Different countries, different histories, different relationships to the rest of the world.
We would be living in a completely different alternate reality if China was the global hegemon where the average wage exceeds the rest of the world for the same hours and quality of work. (why is that a thing I wonder?)
