Boy bands are marketed to tweens, you don’t want the guys to be too sexually intimidating. If you wanted a band full of attractive guys, you wouldn’t have lesbian-looking guys like Harry Styles. Then there’s the Chris Kirkpatricks of the world, that guy sure was attractive. I remember my little sister liking boy bands....then she turned 13. Boy bands = cute, not HOT.

If there were only one look girls were into, there wouldn't be boy bands. Instead there would be just one guy over and over again.

Not saying every boy band member is Chad, but that those who put them together have a pretty good handle of what turns girls on.
