Bowser's Fury is mediocre at best

After partially completing 3d world on Switch, I decided to try Bowser's Fury. This game is SLOP. It is a semi improvement over odyssey as missions are more significant and mostly involve platforming. So I will say that I'm not opposed to how the game is structured. In fact I find it clever how it returns to the 64/Sunshine style while sustaining an open world by having you leave and re-enter different areas. My issue is the platforming is just too mindlessly easy and the missions force you to redo the same platforming with little variance outside of a few different enemies.

I also find the visuals and music to be atrocious. The visuals look worse than Mario Galaxy 2 on the Wii

They also somehow look worse than Super Mario Sunshine

I'd say the game is a 4/10.

I love playing Mario and I used to own a switch but the it being portable makes no sense to me lol, if I got caught outside with that I'd get beaten up.

It's really not. It's a sandbox game like 64 but on a smaller scale. I wish we got another linear game.

It seems like nintendo is going downhill or better said, down a cliff, Two major IPs with one being mario kart open world and the other beinf some infantalized donkey Kong.
