I've played 1 and 3 and skipped 2, because it's gay af - literally. Half the male NPCs you talk to want to have gay sex, apparently. Bioware put their LGBT agenda on full blast in that game.
Fuck, I hate the trophy grind. I stopped doing the achievement/trophy grind circa 2006/07. It's so pointless bro, but people enjoy it, so whatever. It's just not for me.

Never tried it tbh. Probably it's a great game if you played it in its day and you're used to the dice roll combat and not having quest markers but hard to get into if you played Skyrim before.
True there is a learning curve, but the magic and character progression are unmatched by any other game, in Skyrim you're the damn dragon born but you run and act like a normal dude except for shouts. In Morrowind you are NOTHING at the start no one cares about you, just like this life. But later down the road you're at the point where you're strong enough to go toe to toe with the false Gods of Morrowind. And the modding community is really active, so if you're looking to change the combat system there are plenty of great mods for that. Unfortunately there is no one so far who has been willing to map out all the quest markers.

For instance i can recommend great magic mods ( i'm myself mage with my brocel @Mecoja )
with mods you need skse ( and it's conflicting with AE ), but you can fix that with guide ( there ton of once any bethesda tries to 'fix' ( aka destroy modding community ) with it's updates

I played through the standard DLCs and already uninstalled the game a while ago.
