I started a new position as an intern about two months ago, and I hate what my life looks like right now. A bit of context: I’m in a rehabilitation center. It’s my mid-term studies internship for half a year and it looks like the dream job on the paper.


However:

• It’s a 38hrs/week schedule, not flexible. Actually I’m expected to do even more if you include the online classes I have to take on the side.
• I have no work/life balance. If I want a decent sleep schedule, I get around 2 hours of “free time” including dinner when I get home. I feel absolutely miserable just thinking of that. And because I don’t want to work-sleep-repeat, I sleep a bit later at the limit for acceptable sleep, which causes tireness and I fall half asleep at work.
• I have to wake up at 5:15 in the morning if I have a shift in the morning which is usually the case.
• Literally all of my colleagues are post-wall roasties who treat me like crap.

On top of all of this I also have two female intern supervisors designated to me to coordinate and help me but both of them show no real intention of helping me out with anything. One of them keeps moaning about every little mistake I make when carrying out my tasks and even when I do something flawless she still manages to find something she can bitch about for the next 10 minutes.

The other one literally screams at me occasionally and I recently overheard her talking about me with another femoid intern, she said something along the lines of ''Pengwin lives in his own head''

Keeping this up for the next months is going to really suck.

Also I don't sacrifice sleep anymore (or at most 1 hour sometimes) because being tired the next day at work will just be brutal, I imagine it's much worse if it's work that uses your mind like yours does. I remember how shitty it was being tired at school.

2 hours of ''free time'' if you don't count the basic necessities and having to bike to my work place and head back home afterwards. It's more than 8 hours a day too, usually close to 9.

I have to wake up around 5 in the morning so I feel tired regardless. Fridays like yesterday are a little better since I can atleast look forward to sleeping out on Saturday morning.

I should be in the same position as OP, but no one wants me. So basically I'm going to fail this year of school solely because I'm an ugly sandnigger that no one wants as their intern.
