Govid wrote an interesting thread, that reminded me of BOOMER, old timey, classic phenomenon, and we don't wanna lose it.

"Battle Axe". This described a bitchy old wife. Our "karen" term isn't nearly as good.

Don't "show your ass". This described a person that went into a chimpout, lost control of their emotions.

Others...? Maybe your parents used

"keep your pants on".

And "hold your horses".

You hear these expressions in old TCM movies.

Much better than "CHILL"

chill bro :chad:
"Broad". Described a grudging respect for a lady that could hold her own among men, without being obnoxious".

'''''that old broad got that security deposit back"

Probably tons that I can't even think of rn. Even up to '00s content. Soycial media killed comedy.

Why do you say that?

YouTube is sort of 'social media's.

And I got the battle Axe thing from a Conan show, with Norm McDonald as guest.

Both those guys are boomers.

Ngl, battle axe sounds too based to be used to describe foids.

I think "show your ass" is based, since many foids do actually show their ass off through wearing skin tight clothing- they also tend to behave in that manner as well :feelsjuice:.

Meanwhile zoomer quotes:

It’s over
Brootal
Go ER buddy boyo jfl
Cope
Rope
Never began
just be …. theory
….maxxing

Good for nothing is also a boomer saying
Gotta hit it where it hurts is also a boomer saying
Watch yer head
watch out
Move bitch
move fatty
Move tubby
You talk the talk, Do you walk the walk.

Don't show your ass used to mean,

In a tense situation, stay reasonable, instead of escalating, and acting like a total douchebag, such that you're humiliated or embarrassed later
