On the surface, he's "validating" our struggle, but this isn't sympathy, it's a humblebrag. He won the game on the easiest difficulty setting of all time, flexing about his trophy while pretending to pity us for having to play on nightmare mode.

He's not saying "it's hard for you." He's saying "Look how easy I had it."

He's not mourning for us, he's nostalgic for his own privilege. He's bragging that in his day, he could just walk up and talk to a woman without being labeled a creep.

His "warning" that "things are MUCH worse now" is just his way of saying: "You'll never have it as good as I did. I lived in the golden age of low-effort dating, and you're stuck in the dystopia that came after."

I hate boomers who can't acknowledge what incels go through and the fact that women around pretty much every part of the globe have way more privileges than men. This guy at least has a bit of common sense...
