I would say advantage was to see a prey during snow cuz this mutation appeared in europe 6,000-10,000 years ago they have snow and its hard to see white colour prey(for example rabbits) , so blue eyes helped seeing prey by capturing more light photons during winter so its easier to see prey, they had advantage and disadvantages are consequences of advantagesBlue eyes only exist for sexual selection causes. Since the first mutation appeared it spread because people just found them pretty to look at, which they naturally are. They do not have any advantage, only problems.
Blue eyes started as a gene mutation in one person and spread to millions of people. This is proof that white features are intrinsically attractive. They do not have any advantage, only problems.
6.000 was 14.000 years after the Neolithic, long after the Mesolithic and the Ice age. If anything about your idea would be sound the mutation should have ocurred during the Mesolithic, not 6.000 BC. There is no advantage in the snow aswell. Snow reflects sunlight very strongly, part of the reason the Inuits have east asian eyelids and used the first ever created "sun glasses" out of wood to protect their eyes. If anything brown eyes would be more helpful in the reflecting snow.I would say advantage was to see a prey during snow cuz this mutation appeared in europe 6,000-10,000 years ago they have snow and its hard to see white colour prey(for example rabbits) , so blue eyes helped seeing prey by capturing more light photons during winter so its easier to see prey, they had advantage and disadvantages are consequences of advantages
shit appreciate that's you correct me on my mistakes but I forgot to mentioned maybe during nights they have better vision and there still no point cuz we aren't nocturnal we are diurnal so6.000 was 14.000 years after the Neolithic, long after the Mesolithic and the Ice age. It's still a mystery why the blue eyes mutation happened 6.000 BC. Pointe is: It exists to this day not because of an biological advantage but because of sexual selection.shit appreciate that's you correct me on my mistakes but I forgot to mentioned maybe during nights they have better vision and there still no point cuz we aren't nocturnal we are diurnal so
Yeah but if you're ethnic people will know it's fake, you only get the blue eyes halo if it's natural (or could convincingly be natural).I don't see eyes being anything that important considering people can just change their color through contact lenses.
It's kind of like with hair, some people naturally have blonde hair but you can always dye it.
Probably inc*st can lead to have blue its just my hypothesis cuz before we did incest and incest can damage your genes cuz its multiply so probably family members already had problem with melatonin and then they inc*st so we got no melatonin eyesIt's still a mystery why the blue eyes mutation happened 6.000 BC.
