I have never seen my parents ever happy. For as long as I can remember , they were always irritated, angry, or wallowing.
I thought they were always like this for the longest time, but I recently found some pics of them when they were young and just together. What the fuck? I've never seen either of them smiling so hard or as happy as they were in those pics.
You really can't escape the blackpill anywhere. Even your own family. They are NO better than gaslighting/lying normtrash, because they're just as two faced. Even my own parents, always tries to tell me how relationships don't matter at all and other bullshit have only ever been happy when they were still into each other and miserable for decades in between.
