Topics discussed (I am not joking):

1. Sportsball talk on the way there.

2. Everyone is going through social lives, their friends'/family friends' romantic lives (Chad got a new gf and she was so nice and trad [he has a high body count; and an educated 10/10, who cried after their breakup, seems to not have been good enough for him or whatever], some size queen who thinks 12 inches isn't that big may have a new boyfriend, etc).

3. Someone's throwing a party soon, and it turns out alcohol was going to be served to six/seven young female guests, and guess what? Only one single male guest who would be attending, YAAAAY!!! This information seems to have been given, when asked, in a way to sneak gender under the radar.

4. Politics and more social life/life script discussions on the way back. Also tons of couples to view, and even saw a nice couple kissing in public, how beautiful!

5. It's so hard, so so hard, to not buy enough drink to put me in the ground forever.

Oh, right, I also had to use all of my experience and executive function to just barely/barely fail to fight off visible/prolonged crying from what everyone was casually talking about behind me, as to not be "that guy" and ruin the occasion. Brain rot phone games to the rescue!!! This was all in just a few hours, FUCK.

I never really connected deeply with the saying about depression, how it's like drowning when everyone around you is breathing, until today.

Sounds like it was utter hell. Sorry you had to go through that, man :fuk:

The loneliness, that constant biting feeling that you don’t belong. It all becomes so much more worse in gatherings like these. Drowning alone can be peaceful, but drowning when you see everyone around you is afloat and breathing… it is agonizing.

My honest reaction when normies open they mouf... 🤮

Brutal, social events are the worst. Hope you're ok

Stories like this make me glad I'm now estranged from most of my family. Things like family gatherings are rare.

The last one I attended was a funeral. It was so awkward. I had nothing to talk about. No interesting developments. Nothing.

If I die I hope there won't be a funeral, it would be pathetic, sad, and cringy.
