It kinda makes mebwant to just ldar when I think how my life could improve to be 3/10 while I would have to give my best to make it that way while normies have it at 5/10 while giving miniscule attention to it.

I made a thread about this before because I got tired of LDAR idiots projecting their pathetic mindset onto the black pill so they could justify their lack of actions and take no accountability for their lives

The black pill is nihilism, it isn't defeatism, people often conflate the two because it makes them feel better about doing nothing

THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN NIHILISM AND DEFEATISM

Conflating these two things is something I often see done on this site, especially by idiot NEETs

Its also done by normies when I talk about nihilistic perspectives on various issues

I am a nihilist and I despise defeatist rhetoric (which you see all over this forum)

So I think I need to make this clear so that this nonsense can stop:
Nihilism - "The rejection of all religious and moral principles, in the belief that life is meaningless"
Defeatism - "The acceptance of defeat without struggle, often with negative connotations"

Accepting that life is meaningless doesn't mean - "well I have to give up on everything I want now and do nothing"

This is the BS I keep seeing peddled all over this forum, which is 100% false

Nihilism is an observation of reality not a decree of defeatist life choices (which is what defeatism is)

Whether life has meaning or not food still tastes good, sleep still feels refreshing, sex still feels amazing, entertainment is still entertaining, etc, etc, meaning isn't required to enjoy life

I think that is the "root lie" that makes people conflate nihilism and defeatism, the lie that meaning is required to enjoy life, it isn't, all one needs for an enjoyable life, is to have a relatively constant supply of their brain's reward system doing what it does best, that's all, since what causes the reward system to function is you keeping yourself safe and satisfied
 
Thinking that the only reason to do anything for yourself is to appease some hole is pretty bluepilled IMO. I have a few self accomplishments under my belt because I was simply scratching my own itches.

You can be black pilled and still improve your life in many ways, like moneymaxxing for top-tier copes.

Being black pilled and "self-improvement" (TM) are not mutually exclusive. Self-improvement for the purposes of ascending is blue pilled, because deep-down, you haven't fully taken the black pill. But improving yourself and the quality of your life in other ways that have nothing to do with women and sex is actually :whitepill:.

After decades of gym coping and “self improvement”. Ive realize most people are just putting a bandaid on the symptoms or their short comings and not actually addressing them. Most people remain the same to people looking at them from the outside despite them thinking they have improved. The smallest exception is a fatass losing weight and having good features become more apparent, but the average males features are already maxed out despite what some youtube guru tells them. This is all giga cope.

Generally I take time to define a problem and then plan on a solution. I re-plan all the time, breaking tasks down into smaller ones and then re-tasking as I learn and so on.

An example would be weight loss. I noticed the longer I stay in a food shop the more likely I am to buy sugar added foods so now I don't go shopping without a list of items I really need.

Another example is that I took a job fixing C bugs in telecom code. A job no one wants to do as it's really horrible. But I taught myself how to use a debugger which I'm really good at now and all the compiler switches to dig up warnings and such and that's helped me stay in work.

I still have a bit of fight left in me to keep going and since the Blackpill has been working I have more focus because I've given up on finding a foid, much less a caring and loving foid. I've accepted my facial bones means I'll never have a foid so that's that but that don't mean I can't improve me mind and circumstances.

I agree what you say, who wouldn't but I'm not referring to looksmaxxing for a foid or to impress anyone.

It's to improve my own personal circumstances.

For example brain fog has improved after I made an effort to visit a doctor for blood works and he found an iron deficiency. I also go to bed at set times and fall asleep reading a book which has helped and I've only watched porn once in 6 months and that's made a difference to the brain fog. I've also stopped drinking tea and coffee and again this has helped with sleep and removed some brain fog.

At the very least, I'm trying to slow down the rate my life will get worse.
