I could interpret the "real problems" to mean a couple things. Perhaps that I/we are simply genetic trash, and that the majority of people simply will never accept or understand us as they are the "normal" ones; perhaps, you could be alluding to issues within society that are the main culprit for our plight.

What is your interpretation of the real problems? I feel that I haven't expanded upon my thoughts well enough.
