This is a theory that I have. Black people feel the rules were created in order to take advantage of them, which, historically speaking, was the case, actually. Black people who obey the rules are perceived as stupid faggots who let the system take advantage of them.
White people obey the rules because they think the rules were created for them, they obey the system because they perceive they are the ones who benefit from the whole system, black families inherit a distrust for the rules and even if that distrust for the rules doesn't make sense today, it made sense some decades ago, it was an adaptation strategy many black families adopted and inherited.
Meanwhile, we latinos disobey the rules because the rules are created by corrupt governments who want to steal us and lie to us, I've seen videos of Colombian cops trying to steal cars and motorcycles from Colombian people because they knew nobody could do anything about it, because they were the cops and they were in a position of power, and also they were the only ones who had guns because owning guns in Latin America is not as legal as it is in the US, a lot of Colombian families can't do anything, I love Colombia, it's my country, but living here is brutal and I don't trust anyone.
