Recently I’ve been extremely depressed and the consequences of that is that I’ve started to over eat. And obviously I’ve gained a shit ton of fat and I know that it’s already bad enough because of the way I look but I want too have a ounce of dignity left by at least losing the excess fat jfl.

The basic is just eating relatively healthy and exercise regularly.

quickly? multi day fasting. i used to not eat monday - friday and only eat on the weekends. i dropped weight very quickly and my appetite shrunk. but it's not easy to just jump into - started off fasting one day and worked my way to 5 days. you do feel like shit during the fast tho tbh.

prob easier to just reduce calories though.

For losing pounds fast I think severe daily calorie restriction is king. It's not the healthiest option though (you will almost certainly bounce back after hitting your goal), requires a ton of willpower, and will make you grumpy all the time. I would only endorse that for you if you are so upset with your fatness that you'll feel a sense of accomplishment as you see your waist shrink. If you think that's you, try counting calories and eat something like 1200 daily.

Another quick and effective method is fasting. To the uninitiated, it may sound like it requires more willpower than calorie restriction, but if you try it you'll see it's actually much easier. Simply don't eat for a stretch of time once every week. A good aggressive goal would be 48-72 hours. If you've never done this before, start a lot smaller to gain some experience. First do intermittent fasting for maybe a week (keep all your meals inside a 6-8 hour window daily). That will get you used to never snacking. Then try a 36 hour fast. That will be your first experience into the deeper side of fasting where you can feel the change in your body and also notice that you don't feel hungry anymore. You will also get experience breaking the fast, that is eating your first meal, which must be done with care. You have to eat your first meal very slowly otherwise you can shock your body. After your complete a 36 hour fast, you should be ready to take on a fast of any length, provided you maintain your electrolytes properly.

I've had a good amount of experience with fasting - there was a year around 2018-19 where I did a 36 every weekend, not just for weight maintenance but for good health. It's got a lot of benefits unique to it. One superficial thing is that each time you do it you get a sneak peek into the future. Since your stomach is totally empty, deep into the fast you'll look like you weight 5-10 pounds less, and that can be good for motivation. Something crazy happens around 28 hours in where you feel euphoric and extremely positive. That could do you good since you are dealing with depression. It preserves your metabolism better than calorie restriction does, since your body switches to fat burning on these days rather than learning to cope with less all the time. The thing I like the least is that it's more difficult to fall asleep, but if you are a bed rotter that's not a big deal, and if you do have a job you can still fit 48s in on the weekends.

adderall, vyvanse or ritalin if thats still prescribed

Calorie deficit and exercising (try to walk somewhere between 10,000-20,000 steps a day)

determination, food scale, app to count calories, and lots of protein

Calorie restriction and proper fuel
Do sprinting compared to marathons

Starve nigga there is no magic solution calories in calories out being a carnivore makes this easier since meat satiates a lot

For me autistically tracking my calories works for me since it's like a game. Even if you eat slop, track it. Drink a lot of pepsi max and eat filling foods like potato and ground beef. Don't avoid fats, my staple meal is just mashed potato/sweet potato with some butter and ground beef with some hot sauce, very filling and nutritious. Drink some coffee since it suppresses appetite. Also try go on a night walk every night, this is just a generally good cope. This is coming from someone who went from 250lbs to 175lbs

Very good

Diet and exercise. But ask .org

Eat loads of vegetables and lentils and drink loads of water. It will make you feel full but won't contain many calories.

Then I would ask you how tall and how fat you are or if you have a good BMI.

You can start by cutting junk food out of your diet, gluten, seed oils, and sugar. You can also try the Ray Peter diet too hes helped a lot people thats a different method increasing carbs and cutting down on fats. People have luck with the carnivore diet too but I wouldnt do it long term.
