what are some good drugs like xanax i can make my pschiatrist give me so im not depressed

@Ritalincel

I'm going to try taking Zoloft soon. You can't really take benzodiazepines regularly long term unless you want to go through withdrawals one day. I quit taking alprazolam (xanax) after 2-3 weeks daily and I had the biggest panic attack of my life with severe OCD and thoughts of harming myself. I will never take benzos daily ever again.

Fuark, Zoloft sucked ngltbh

Methylphenidate, Mirtazapine. I have Lexapro also, though it sedates me a bit too much and makes me duller.

Do they stop negative thoughts, anyway to get my psychiatrist to give me them tbh

Stimulants did that for me, partially. I was more focused on intellectual pursuits like language learning. The "comedown" gave me suicidal thoughts and paranoia, however.

While sedated, I'm much too dazed to care about negative experiences...

I just started this. SSRIs can work for a lot of people. After awhile I adjust to it and I'm back to my miserable self. They're pretty much just a bandaid although I can't function without them. I don't think there is anything to be honest OP. I'm hoping I can get on some antipsychotics. It's really my last ditch effort. Otherwise you're looking at illegal drugs. LSD, shrooms, ketamine, etc. Or booze

Did you have anxiety and did the zoloft help? I don't feel depressed but I do feel anxious 24/7.

Stanford researchers devise treatment that relieved depression in 90% of participants.

Zoloft helps with depression but not anxiety ime, sadly. There's a couple things like propranolol or clonidine and a few others that might help. Those mostly help with the physical symptoms not psychological though.

Also, yeah I have horrible anxiety. I've got several anxiety disorders though.
