The fandom had always been cringe but it seems nowadays it's full of young normies who say "Guts is literally me, the struggle is real " and spend all their parents money in Berserk clothes and gym merch.

I don't have any proof but it wouldn't surprise me that they haven't read the manga, they just watched Berserk tiktok reels with AI voiceover recaps and phonk edits and call themselves fans Or they just watched the 1997 anime (probably at x2 speed because bad attention span) which is only like 30% of the whole story.

I like Berserk but I distance myself from the fandom as much as possible.
