It really fucking sucks.

The biggest thing that's evident right away (all shortcels can vouch me on this one) is the fact that from right off the bat people have a lower expectations of you, it's like they think you're less evolved or something. women hate short men, literally all of my female cousins treat me like I'm their age even though I'm 7 years older.
