Theory Being overparented can lead to making your own decisions FEELING wrong

I think I was overparented.

To some degree maybe I now lack some degree of skill in making my own decisions but the bigger problem I think is that it FEELS wrong to make them myself.

Like... it's unsatisfying. I want someone else to carve a path for me, you know?

But I think that's inevitable if I was overparented. I need to overcome it now.

I don't know if anyone else here can relate to this but I thought it was worth noting down!

Aw, heh. Yeah it's not good. My mum actually died a few years ago so that made it very clear to me that I need to move on from relying on my parents >.<

To be fair the brain doesn't finish developing until 25.

And it's OK to ask parents for input.

But yeah it's good to try to develop independence ^^
