it is actually one of the most brutal things you can experience, why?
Because it is an actual social death sentence, ik this is water but you have to really look through the eyes of an autistic individual. Imagine this, everytime you go outside you get severely overwhelmed with anxiety in your chest, you were taught to fake yourself from childhood because it was deemed weird, and on top of that you struggle to talk to people out of fear you’ll appear neurodivergent, you start speaking like a little kid sometimes for no reason, you say the most random thing at the wrong time, or you say something that sounds “rude” even when you don’t mean for it to be.
And you have zero control of it, literally zero. Something you guys don’t know, there are many people who literally will despise you simply for being autistic, they will literally ignore your existence, and the worst part you can’t do anything to save yourself because it’s impossible.
