When someone is in that state of rage and disappointment against official Christianity, there is nothing you can say that will calm them down. They have become allergic to the word "Christianity". Religion is like some sort of shelter i reckon. It can be a good shelter for many people, helping to cope with their own problems. But you'll realise that you're the only one who have to deal with the problem. There is no such thing as saviour. You have to be your own saviour whatever the problem is.
