A lot of incels here like to make fun of the concept of betabuxxing, and while I understand where the mockery comes from, I would like to point out that there can be contexts in which being a provider is a dignified male role within a male-female relationship. While it's not really my thing, I would have loved to become a provider in an ideal world, given that I provided for someone who responded back with love and affection.
And that's the thing, providing only makes sense if you get love and affection back, which doesn't really happen anymore. "But unconditional lov-There's no such thing. Love is always conditional in the sense that you offer a bit of happiness to someone in exchange of happiness from someone. Any unequal exchange of said happiness is what we call being a cuck. Nowadays, males provide and provide while the odds are against them thanks to increased disloyalty, hypergamy and divorce rates from females. Being a provider not only has no real benefits anymore, but it's actually detrimental to the integrity of a man since females only care about a man's resources (looks, money, status) rather than the man himself.
