Sounds like too much effort and I'm not that much into beer that I would want to brew my own, and I'm quite confident that whatever I brew would be shit compared to what I can get from bottle shops anyway

No that’s for hipsters imo and I am too lazy to do it. But I know a friend who tried home brewed from a guy I don’t know and he said it tasted like shit. I guess there is a reason why division of labor is common for 1000+ years

Craft from Lidl is relatively cheap so i don't make my own.
Wine or cider is easier
