I came across a post today on reddit which was mocking Internation Men's Day. I do not want to post the reddit thread here because even seeing it again is going to make me more emotional.
So, there was this self-proclaimed old lady in the comments saying Corpos do not have financial incentives to acknowledge Men's Day.
I, with as much civility as possible, told her Schools and Academia in general do not have financial incentives when it comes to celebrating Women's Day. I wondered why they wouldn't in the case of men unless there was social backlash if they did so.
She replied that conveniently her school never acknowledged Women's Day and men should just stop begging for these things.
I generally do not care women's ragebaiting comments, such bitter, venomous, and gaslighting words coming from an old lady really broke me.
Might seem like a weird post, but I just wanted to let out.
