I have to pretend I'm overcome with humility

Not a second before the instant
But this year I think I'd rather be a relic
Than part of the present
I take this song to basically say that "self improooovement" and "look inward" shit is mostly bullshit nonsense. Also virtue signaling goodness is a LARP. The simple music is a rejection of society's performative nonsense
