Beauty standards are just trends and personal preferences—they don’t automatically dictate how anyone should look. Following them is a choice, not a rule. When someone says, “I get hated on because I look like this,” it’s not the beauty standard’s fault—it’s the discriminators’.

like one of my favorite self made quotes

"The mirror isn’t to blame for reflecting your image; it’s simply showing what’s there."

So you cannot blame the mirror for finding you self horrendous, right? it is simply doing its job... So don't blame beauty standards for being there... blame the people who discriminate you for not following it, at the end of the day... we all look bad when we take a shit.

This image captures a serene moment of a dog with its eyes gently closed, basking in warm sunlight. The lighting suggests it's either early morning or late afternoon—golden hour—casting a soft glow on the dog's fur and highlighting its peaceful expression. The background is blurred, drawing full attention to the dog's tranquil face and the texture of its coat. It evokes a sense of calm, contentment, and quiet appreciation of nature's beauty.
