treatments are VERY hit or miss and by the time you notice it, you need hair transplants to fix damage. i've had two already.

nobody can truly appreciate the brutality of balding until it happens to them. even chads are reduced to subhuman status. most guys dont look like meeks.

Oral Minoxidil worked for me but only at the crown, I used to have some scalp showing there but it has completely filled in, scalp doesn't show even under direct sunlight now. I also take Dutasteride.

Topical Minoxidil is shit because most people don't have enough sulfotransferase enzymes in the scalp to convert minoxidil into its active form, I don't even know how it got approved. You don't get this problem when you take it orally because the liver converts it for you. The pill mogs topical to death.
