Baki is the worst protagonist ever and you're retarded if you disagree

So recently I watched the Baki show from 2018.

I was enjoying the show and all. Cool fight scenes, great animation. But I hate the protagonist. I don't think he's the worst anime protagonist, I think he's the worst protagonist PERIOD. Worst protagonist in any fiction story.

Baki is the definition of Mary Sue:

• Constantly admired by other characters
• Overpowered (at no point in the show does he ever have even a moment, where he feels remotely threatened by his opponent)
• 0 character flaws (and therefore 0 personality)
• 0 character development

Awful protagonist. He made the show way worse than it has to be. I considered continuing, by watching the 2020 show, but I decided against it. I just can't stand Baki's chill, sigma male attitude. He's a boring protagonist. Really poorly written character. He's a fucking 18 year old who beats up guys twice and thrice his age, who are complete beasts.

Every moment he comes on the screen, I know what's going to happen. He is going to beat someone, very easily. 0 struggle, 0 conflict.

He is also a cringe male feminist type. White knight who feels super duper angry if anyone touches his girl. And he told his girl "hey I don't own you, you're not my property. You can date whoever you want" very cringe.

His girlfriend is also an awful side character. Her only personality is that she loves Baki. Sure maybe irl it would be cool to have a gf like that, but it's boring to watch in a show.

Overall, I'm very disappointed. I like the show, but I get why many people say it's a bad show. Because it is a bad show.

And if you think Baki as a character is cool for some reason, you have shit taste and don't appreciate good writing.

Yujiro is even more overpowered, but at least he has an interesting personality. He's so over the top evil, and so animal-like, he has a certain charm. And strangely enough, he's so overpowered you actually feel threatened whenever he's on the screen. It's like he passed the "Mary Sue uncanny valley" of OP.

I've heard that response before. I don't care if the original show was a masterpiece and if Baki was a more interesting character before. That doesn't excuse the bad writing in the 2018 show.

Baki is not a well written manga/show like most anime/manga but the original manga/anime is better and Baki's motives and character are more consistent there. He does go through character development and has flaws in the first manga heck he even loses and is afraid of his opponents multiple times like with Yujiro, Hanayama, a MMA guy in the earlier arcs, the Yasha ape, heck Yanagi beat him in that season you posted. Even his male feminist side you hate is a character trait
